Glenda Brown lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband Steve Hawley. She is a retired medical social worker, and also worked in early childhood education for a number of years. Her two sons, Kevin and Michael, together with her love of knitting provided much of the inspiration for Winston Has an Idea. J. Alan Herman is a native Washingtonian and a graduate of IADT Sanford Brown College School of Design. He is a local artist associated with the Stanwood Camano Arts Advocacy Commission and has been a passionate creative throughout his life.
