Author Information

Claudia Martin is a highly respected author of non-fiction for children and young adults, specialising in geography, science, and the natural world. Her books have been translated into 14 languages and have sold over a quarter of a million copies. She lives in London. Clare Hibbert specialises in non-fiction books for children of pre- and primary school age. She has been shortlisted for the prestigious Aventis Junior Science Prize, and won a dozen Practical Pre-School Gold Awards. Dougal Dixon has a degree in geology from The University of St Andrews and he has a special interest in fossils and evolution.
