Roslyn writes from the comfort of her sunroom, dog at hand to interrupt as much as caninely possible. Her life is pretty normal: husband, son, dog that thinks he's a cat, and endless bills, which is probably why her imagination goes right to archangels, monsters, demons, and fated true love, not to mention the darker stuff.
