Have read other books by this author and love them all. Dawne Archer, author of Trekker Girl 5.0 out of 5 stars Middle Eastern Adventures Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 April 2020 Verified Purchase So, Joe drops the bombshell that he would like to do more teaching and Victoria joins him for their adventures at an international school in Bahrain at a most turbulent time in the history of this country. Always interesting, at times horrifying, once again I found myself transported into the life of this intrepid couple. Bahrain was a far cry from the small mountain village in Spain they had called home and, at times, both Joe and Victoria wondered quite what they had got themselves into. Some wonderful characters appear in this book, bringing the whole experience to life. I can't wait to read more. 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect reading for our long and depressing winters Reviewed in the United States on February 4 Verified Purchase Once I started reading Victoria Twead's first book I just could not put it down. Today I finished reading her sixth book One Young Fool in Dorset and I cannot wait for Victoria's next book. Her writings are absolutely delightful; perfect reading for our long and depressing winters. Sometimes I could not stop laughing at the vivid descriptions of her experiences. Enjoyed particularly Two Fools on a Camel. I was curious to read how would Vicky and Joe cope with the different culture and way of thinking in the Arabs countries. I loved the book and I have to say I LOVED all her books. I feel that I met Vicky and Joe and I think both are very lovely people. Cannot wait for her next book!! 5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious Reviewed in Australia on 9 December This is a great story. It's a very funny read. Have read other books by this author and love them all.
