The author of numerous articles, her monograph is Care and Custody of the Mentally Ill, Incompetent, and Disabled in Medieval England (2013). Christina Lee, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Viking Studies at the University of Nottingham in the School of English. She is one of two general editors (with Sally Crawford) of Studies in Early Medicine and she has published widely on medieval disability and concepts of health.
