The majesty of the tiger has transcended generations and continents, inspiring people from all walks of life to protect, venerate and celebrate the big cat. This beautifully illustrated book will captivate a new generation and impart important lessons learned from the tragic local extinction of the tigers of Panna Tiger Reserve in India. While interventions since mean that tigers once again stalk the emerald forests. * Debbie Banks, Tiger and Wildlife Crime Campaign Leader, Environmental Investigation Agency *

Brilliant, inspirational and pulls no punches, telling one of the really big conservation stories, The Tigers' Tale is superbly illustrated and wonderfully told. * Tim Birkhead, Author of What it's Like to Be a Bird * The majesty of the tiger has transcended generations and continents, inspiring people from all walks of life to protect, venerate and celebrate the big cat. This beautifully illustrated book will captivate a new generation and impart important lessons learned from the tragic local extinction of the tigers of Panna Tiger Reserve in India. While interventions since mean that tigers once again stalk the emerald forests. Catherine Barr’s book reminds us all that the threat of tiger trade still lingers and there is no room for complacency. * Debbie Banks, Tiger and Wildlife Crime Campaign Leader, Environmental Investigation Agency * Tigers today need all the help they can get. In The Tiger's Tale, the perils of habitat loss and the illegal wildlife trade loom large, but Catherine Barr's charming story and Tara Anand's gorgeous illustrations turn the emerald forest into a place of magic and hope, where the big cats leap off every page and the future is as bright as their burning eyes. * Mike Unwin, Non-Fiction Author behind Migration: Incredible Animal Journeys, Photographer and Illustrator * An extraordinary and hard-hitting story of a species on the brink, which finishes with a message of hope that will galvanise you into action. * Jess French, Author of What a Waste and Lost Species *
