Intelligence has discovered there is a second Controller which must be destroyed. During the incursion, and action, two of George's men are captured; his first sergeant and best friend, and a medic. His friend's wife is with their second child a girl. Can George and his friends rescue the captives? Read the book and find out the traumatic events which affect him and his wife's friends because of an attack by terrorists in a mall near George's post. Among those who are injured, is one of the officer's wives. She was willing to give her life to save a small lad whose mother had died holding him. Will she survive and recover? The story ends with a surprise. Please read the book and find out what it is.

Author Information

Welcome to AUTHORS LOUNGE; And a BIG thank you to AUTHORS' LOUNGE for promoting my book, The Adventures of George Lee - A Race Against Time. Hi, I'm Orville Mann, the author of The Adventures of George Lee - A Race Against Time. I am the husband of Nena Mann, who became my wife over 59 years ago. We have two children, 5 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren. My hobbies are playing the piano or guitar. I also like to do crossword puzzles in the newspapers. I truly enjoyed writing this fiction; I suppose George Lee would be considered my want-to-beself. I joined the Indiana National Guard in 1957 and was a member for 12 years. After attending the Indiana Military Academy, I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1965. During my time as an Officer, I served as Executive Officer, Armor Platoon Leader, and Detachment Commander as well as other assignments. During my service as a First Lieutenant, I felt a call into the Christian ministry. I resigned my commission and was released in 1969 to attend Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. I attended God's Bible School and College and worked as a night shift lead man during the school years. During my senior year I pastored a Friends church in Cincinnati, Ohio. My wife and I, along with our two children, Pamela and Jack moved to Kansas City, Kansas where we pastored the First Wesleyan church. During my pastorate there, I worked for Western Auto first in Kansas City and then in Olatha, Kansas. I also attended Kansas City College and Bible School. After pastoring in Kansas for eight years, we moved back to Ohio. While living in Columbus, I pastored with The Churches of Christ in Christian Union smaller churches in Jeffersonville, Ohio and Joan Heights in Columbus. After quitting the job as quality assurance manager and resigning my pastorate, I moved to Cheyenne, WY. During that time, I had an enjoyable stay with my Son-in-law and daughter. I worked at Puma Steel before moving to a pastorate Madison, Wisconsin. There, I worked for Western Auto in the automotive department. After recovering from a minor stroke in December 1992, I received a call to pastor the Mount Tabor Wesleyan Church near Bedford, KY in 1993. I have pastored this church for the past until present.
