Overview

The Magical Teapot Party is a heartwarming picture book about friendship, courage, and celebrating what makes us different. When Camille the teapot is invited to The second annual Teapot party, she's excited - until she worries her whistling voice might not fit in with the other elegant teapots from around the world. But with the help of her best friend Sally the Sugar bowl, Camille discovers that sometimes the very thing that makes you feel different is what makes you magical. Perfect for children ages 4-8, this beautifully illustrated story explores self-acceptance, confidence, and kindness, reminding young readers that being yourself is the greatest magic of all.

Reviews

Magnificent illustrations and the heartwarming story of overcoming obstacles can be magical . Self acceptance; learning to live with what makes us different understanding no one is perfect. friendship; once accepting our ourselves we can accept others enjoying life and appreciating good friends and beauty, and be able to whistle away any fears which in turn gives us confidence. These are keynotes in the story along with art history learning how to whistle . Whistles are used in many ways for safety, in parenting (instead of screaming), speech pathology . Whistles like people, and tea pots, come in all shapes, colors, sizes, and have different purposes. Like tying your shoes, and riding a bike whistling is a skill we grown-ups take for granted only when we try to teach children how to whistle, we realize how darn tricky it is .Wether calling a dog or making a little music, though the art of whistling can be useful...and just downright fun! The story is also packed with art history.
