OverviewJoin a little girl, her brothers and her very adventurous grandpa in an epic moment of baseball history. Based on her true life story, Bethany creatively shares the impact people can make by simply believing in the joy others can bring. True joy is found deep within our hearts when we know others are truly glad to be with us, no matter what. Joy knows we do not need to be fixed. Joy is safe. Joy offers time to try new things. Joy is found in Christ and in you and me. A portion of all proceeds from The Joy Catcher will be donated to CHARGE Syndrome Foundation to help families attend the conferences, connect with support and further medical research. Thank you for your support and spreading joy! ""The Joy Catcher"" is an inspiring and heartwarming picture book based on a true story that will captivate both children and adults alike. This touching tale follows the journey of a young girl with CHARGE Syndrome, a rare condition that presents her with unique challenges, including vision loss, severe hearing loss, and a small right arm and hand. At the heart of this story is a powerful message of resilience, self-acceptance, and the unbreakable bond between a grandfather and his granddaughter. When faced with the seemingly impossible task of catching a baseball with only one able arm, our young protagonist discovers that limitations are merely opportunities for creativity and growth. A Story of Triumph and Perseverance Through vivid illustrations and engaging prose, readers will witness the girl's determination as she learns to embrace her differences. Her wise and loving grandfather becomes her guide, showing her that she is unstoppable just the way she is[1][5]. Together, they explore innovative ways to adapt and overcome, proving that with the right mindset, anything is possible. Empowering Message for All Ages ""The Joy Catcher"" offers more than just a heartwarming story; it provides valuable lessons for readers of all ages: - For children: It encourages embracing uniqueness, building self-confidence, and developing problem-solving skills - For parents and educators: The book serves as a tool to discuss diversity, inclusion, and the importance of a growth mindset - For adults: It reminds us of the power of unconditional love and the strength found in facing challenges head-on This book is an excellent resource for families, schools, and libraries seeking to promote empathy, understanding, and the celebration of differences. ""The Joy Catcher"" will leave readers inspired, reminding us all that joy can be found in the most unexpected places - and that sometimes, the greatest victories come from redefining the rules of the game.
