Overview

Halfway through his junior year of high school, Caleb Manning finds himself in yet another new town, new house, enrolling in another school, this time at Kenmore West High School in Kenmore, New York. Caleb's dad, Moses, is less than three years from retirement from his career in the military. Relocating often is just part of life. In a world increasingly more secular and less spiritual, Caleb learns to adapt. A young man of incredible faith and sound morals, he's been given incredible gifts by the Lord to carry out his mission. The Journey Begins, a faith-based novel, follows Caleb on his journey. The story is modeled from the accounts of the life of Caleb from the Bible, a faithful man who trusted God to fulfill his promises when others allowed their fears to override their small faith. God blessed Caleb for his faithfulness and patience, an encouragement to us to believe God. This novel shares the message, that like Caleb, we should be prepared to follow God in every circumstance, patiently waiting for him to fulfill his promises.
