Overview

In 1879, the Cult of Death performed a dark ritual, trapping a man's shadow soul in an antique mirror. Over a century later, in 1990, the cursed mirror ends up in an antique store owned by Emma Thompson. In the present day, Emma's grandson, Alex, a teenager with a mysterious birthmark, discovers the eerie mirror with his friends, Jake and Sarah. Curious, they perform a ritual they found online, unknowingly releasing the vengeful Shadow Man. The Shadow Man targets descendants of the original cult members, gaining power by collecting the souls of firstborn sons with the birthmark. Alex, being a firstborn, becomes a primary target.
