The Coming of the Son of Man is a study that attempts at bringing out the correct and contextual messaging of the Lord Jesus and His holy Apostles concerning His coming, in the sense that they conveyed to their audiences, in first century AD. In this study, the reader will understand with clarity the intended addressees of that eschatological event and determine for themselves whether the modern-day mantra about His return is biblically founded. Did Jesus Christ and His Apostles ever speak about a physical return of the Lord to Earth in order to establish a millennial reign? Where did the Jesus-is-coming-back mantra begin and why have all predicted models of men yesterday and today failed to be fulfilled. What if it was all circumscribed to first century AD? Why did the Lord and His Apostles never use the words coming back or return or coming again, in the context of eschatology? This book is about settling the dust once and for all and helping the Church of Christ to be equipped with knowledge from sound doctrine and live a confident and fearless life in this present world of darkness. Taking from sound hermeneutics and proper exegesis, the author presents a study to debunk the myths surrounding a so-called return of the Lord in a physical and even take a bolder step using all Old and New Testaments parlance to establish without wincing that Jesus and His Apostles limited their predictions to first century Jews and Romans. Anything beyond that scope, called this generation, is at variance to Scriptures.
