Greenberg Professor of Law at the University of Chicago. His book How to Save a Constitutional Democracy (with Tom Ginsburg) was published in October 2018 and won the International Society of Public Law I-CON Book Prize (2019). Before teaching, Professor Huq litigated voting rights and civil liberties as Associate Counsel and then Director of the Liberty and National Security Project of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law. He was also a Senior Consultant Analyst for the International Crisis Group. He clerked for Judge Robert D.
