OverviewLouise's life is a mess. To distract herself she copies an Impressionist painting and finds herself on the other side of it, as its subject. She had time travelled into Berthe Morisot's studio in Paris, 1871. Berthe is trying to create a radically new style of art, but she's struggling. She is riddled with self-doubt and her mother is pressuring her to marry. Louise starts an exciting new life in Paris but Berthe's life becomes increasingly turbulent. Louise realises that her and Berthe's lives are strangely entangled. A story about art, feminism, quantum physics and the struggle to find yourself.
