Lourdes was born in Chatham New Brunswick and lived throughout Canada, settling in Moncton in 1970. A former educator obtaining a BA and BEd, she received both Women of Distinction and Paul Harris awards for her contributions to the community. Lourdes began telling these stories during sleepovers with her granddaughter, Lola, who loved hearing made-up tales before bedtime. Inspired by family storytelling traditions and memories of her father sharing stories after long days of work, Lourdes created this collection of warm farmyard adventures to be enjoyed by children and families for years to come. Many thanks to those who encouraged and supported Lourdes throughout her book writing journey.
