Seagull Scruff is a beautiful illustrated rhyming tale about a young seagull trying to find his way. Scruff is born on the wrong side of the tracks and soon falls in with a gang of gulls who love to hang out in the car park causing trouble! A chance meeting with a new friend takes him to the beach where he learns more about being a 'real gull', how to forage for food and to have fun! Author Information

Erin Allgrove is a children's writer, poet and publisher. She is the author of the Bosun Bob series of children's picture books, also published by Langrove Publishing. Erin had the idea of Seagull Scruff watching the gulls at Exmouth seafront and marina. She was intrigued by the differences in their often comical behaviour as well as enjoying their acrobatic flight patterns from her apartment window. Erin lives in Devon where she spends most of her time dreaming up unlikely stories about various animals and sea creatures.
