He now works as a British Council Inspector, and is reviews editor for Modern English Teacher. Diane Phillips is currently a lecturer with the Open University (teaching on the MA in applied linguistics) and a British Council Inspectors. She is particularly interested in project work and portfolio assessment, especially with young learners. Steve Walters is an academic director at the Norwich Institute of Language Education (NILE).
