Author Information

Michail (Mike) Marshall's early years were marked by profound hardship: institutional abuse at an infamous ""House of Horrors"", family sexual assault at age 11, and being subjected to relentless domestic violence to the age of 14. By the age of 15, Mike was homeless and denied access to stability and education. Yet, through sheer determination, he built a self-driven career that rose to the heights of forming part of an international senior management team. While working overseas, Mike fell victim to cybercrime that left him penniless and homeless. Housed in a Perth homeless shelter just following the COVID-19 pandemic, Mike turned to positivity to improve his circumstances, and this in turn led to him writing about his experiences and subsequent turnaround.
