Mariko Tamaki is an award-winning New York Times Bestselling writer of both comics and prose. Her work on graphic novels like Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me and Harley Quinn- Breaking Glass earned her an Eisner Award for Best Writer. In 2021, she began a ground-breaking appointment as the lead-writer for the ongoing Detective Comics series, which she continued for nearly 30 issues. In 2024, she was shortlisted for the Lambda Literary Award for her graphic novel Roaming.
