Working in Washington, Alaska, New Mexico, Texas, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Indiana. During this time she worked in many different areas of OT. These include: outpatient clinics: home health, school districts, pediatrics, and nursing homes. In addition 1989, Margret assisted, in what is now Utuqqanaat Inaat (a place for Elders) nursing facility, located in Kotzebue, AK to obtain their initial certification for skilled beds. This allowed the elders of the village to stay near home. In addition to clinical work, she also held teaching positions at the University of Texas El Paso, Worcester State University, Towson University, and University of Indianapolis.
