A propulsive comic novel following Ethan, a lowly fast-food employee who gets one last shot at glory on a new TV show, only to discover that the plot twists are beyond what he ever imagined. Ethan just wants a way out of his hum-drum life-and make a quick $100,000. When he's contacted to compete on a reality television show, he thinks only of the money and the free vacation. But after finding himself on a deserted island with a handful of wanna-bes, never-weres, and totally unbalanced crazies, he quickly realizes he's signed on for more than he bargained for.
