Ashutosh Kumar Shukla obtained his BSc, MSc and D Phil from the University of Allahabad. He is an Associate Professor of Physics and currently heads the Physics department at Ewing Christian College, Allahabad, a University of Allahabad institution. In addition to articles and review articles published in peer-reviewed journals, he has authored textbooks and participated as an editor in many edited volumes published by reputed publishers. These edited volumes have been often prepared in collaboration with experts from different countries. He intends to continue pursuing his academic interests, which include Spectroscopy applications in different fields of societal importance.
