The project Sketches of Science encloses more than 120 photographs of Nobel Laureates, taken by the photographer Volker Steger over the course of several years. Central Idea: All Laureates are asked to draw their research or discovery which got them the Nobel Prize. Then, they are photographed - freestyle. On occasion of the travelling exhibition Sketches of Science, which has been realized as a collaboration between the Nobel Prize Museum, Stockholm, and the Foundation Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, this book presents 120 Nobel Ideas in selected photographs - and tells the interesting stories behind them.
