Septimus Spats and the Great Poop Caper: Septimus Spats

Overview

Meet Septimus Spats, a proud Persian cat who loves his straw hat, vest, spats and cream puffs, but hates dirt, and his owner Stiletto Heels, who ignores Septimus and pays more attention to the group of picketers she leads who are trying to get dog owners to pick up their dog dirt when walking their dogs. Meet also Shushlock, a loveable hairy mutt dog who wants to be a detective, loves his Sherlock Holmes outfit and his bagel with a shmear of cream cheese, much of which ends up on his fur, but he hates washing. Aided by a family of white owls, Harry, Hedy, and Tiny Hoot, this unlikely team sets out to discover dog owners and walkers not picking up after their dogs on the streets of the upper west side of New York City. They are trailed by Missy Lead, a mysterious dog who hides a secret she's afraid will be uncovered. What is that secret and will it be discovered? Will the thoughtless dog owners and walkers be caught? Along with a group of other colorful characters, Septimus, Shushlock and the Hoots learn to work together. They discover that respect and trust can overcome differences to meet a challenge.
