Rooted Truth: Israel's Case Against the Deniers

Overview

The libels arrive in waves - apartheid, colonialism, genocide - each one presented as new, each one a fresh costume on a wish older than any of them. Rooted Truth dismantles them and traces their lineage to the Soviet propaganda machinery that drafted the modern vocabulary now used against Israel at the UN, on campus, and through the NGOs that traffic in it. The case is built on five surfaces. Legal: the Mandate, San Remo, UN 181, and the four wars that confirmed the title under international law. Archaeological: Hebrew coins struck during the revolts, synagogues built across Judea, mikva'ot cut into the rock of Jerusalem, an inscription on a tunnel wall older than the alphabet most of the deniers were educated in. Historical: three thousand years of continuous Jewish presence on the land, never erased, never replaced. Diagnostic: the wish in different costumes from Norwich in 1144 to Cooper Union in 2023, traced costume by costume to the same engine underneath. Institutional: the UN's assembly line, the campus catechism, and the NGO industry that turns slogans into petitions. Antizionism is antisemitism in the IHRA working definition forty-plus governments have adopted. Rooted Truth names what is under the costume, hands the brief to the reader, and closes with three standing orders. For the parent at the WhatsApp group when the slogan goes by and nobody pushes back. For the teenager home from her sophomore year with a vocabulary lifted half from a dorm hallway and half from a TikTok feed. For the Christian friend who has loved Israel for theological reasons and now needs the record in plain English. The case is yours now.
