Overview

The Rob Roy Way is one of Scotland's Great Trails. Author Information

After a long career in education, information technology and academic publishing, Jacquetta became interested in long-distance walking and trekking. After completing the West Highland Way, her first long walk, she founded Rucksack Readers in 2000. With the late John Henderson she devised the Rob Roy Way in 2001 and has been walking and cycling it, on and off, ever since.  She runs the website www.robroyway.com and is the author of its definitive guidebook. She has also funded and managed several waymarking projects for the route over its first 25 years.
