Author Information

Harish C. Chandan is an independent Researcher in Business. He retired from Argosy University as a Professor of Business at Argosy University, Atlanta. He was interim chair of the business program in 2011. He received the President’s award for excellence in teaching in 2007, 2008 and 2009. His teaching philosophy is grounded in the learner needs and life-long learning. His research interests include research methods, leadership, marketing, organizational behavior and social psychology. He has edited 15 Business reference books, published 23 peer-reviewed articles in business journals and 25 chapters in business reference books. Dr. Chandan has presented conference papers at Academy of Management, International Academy of Business and Management, Southeast Association of Information Systems, and Academy of International Business. Prior to joining Argosy, Dr. Chandan managed Optical Fiber and Cable Product Qualification lab. for Lucent Technologies, Bell Laboratories. Supriya Srivastava is currently serving as faculty in the department of Management Sciences and Liberal Arts at Shoolini University, Himachal Pradesh. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Lucknow, India, and holds dual postgraduate degrees: an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Lucknow and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Punjab Technical University (PTU), Punjab. Prior to her postgraduate studies, she completed her undergraduate education in Economics and Sociology from Isabella Thoburn (IT) College, University of Lucknow. In addition to her formal degrees, Dr. Srivastava has pursued multiple postgraduate diplomas in Rural Development, Disaster Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Yoga Science, which underscore her commitment to interdisciplinary learning and application. With over fourteen years of academic and research experience, she has cultivated expertise at the intersection of Social Sciences and Management. Her research interests are wide-ranging and include social development, human resource management, inclusive development, disaster management, gender studies, religion, and spirituality. She has published extensively in reputed national and international journals, authored book chapters, and contributed to scholarly discourse through her academic writings and copyrighted works. Dr. Srivastava is also the author of two significant books: Women-led Development and Gender Budgeting: Indian Perspective and Gender Equality and Sustainable Development: Issues and Challenges, Serial Publications, New Delhi.
