Recorder Songbook - Old Irish Jigs: for Soprano or Tenor Recorder + Sounds Online

Overview

Songbook with 30 Old Irish Jigs - simply notated for the Soprano or Tenor Recorder with baroque fingering. The Jig is both a lively folk dance throughout the British Isles and the underlying melody. It was widespread in England in the 16th century, only later becoming a typical dance of Ireland. In Irish folk, the jig is still the most popular tune after the reel. Each tone of the melody is shown with fingering images for the recorder, these are placed under the classical music notation. The sounds of the songs are available online in a sound player with adjustable playback speed. Videos explain how to read music, download files with the recorder fingerings are also available online. Web address and access data in the book. For intermediate and advanced player.
