He has more than 19 years of teaching and research experience. His current research areas include micro hydro-turbines, vertical axis wind turbines, hybrid renewable energy systems, solar thermal energy, and solar passive systems. He has published more than 150 research papers in various referred national/international journals and conferences and has 4 patents to his credit. He has also authored/co-authored 14 books/chapters and delivered 15 invited lectures in different technical forums. He has guided 13 PhD dissertations and 32 M.Tech projects so far. He served as a principal investigator of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) Govt. of India sponsored solar regional test center. He had won Best Research award in Wind Energy for 2021, conferred by IREDA-NIWE, and Outstanding Reviewer Award 2021, Conferred by International Journal of Green Energy. He is an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Energy Research journal and has also edited ICRAME 2024 Springer Book Proceedings. He is an associate member of the Institution of Engineers (India). Dr. Dipankar Bhanja obtained B.E. in mechanical engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College under North Bengal University in 2000, M. E. in production engineering from Jadavpur University in 2002, and Ph. D. in the field of heat transfer from Jadavpur Universtiy, Kolkata in 2014.He has over 19 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Om Prakash Singh currently holds the position of Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, U.P., India, where he has been serving since 2016. Prior to this, Dr. Singh worked as an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, H.P, India, for about five years. He also possesses significant industry experience, having worked as a senior manager (R&D) at TVS Motor Company Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, for six years after completing his Ph.D. Dr. Singh’s 39 years academic journey began in 2001 at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, where he obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. His doctoral research, focused on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), made significant contributions to the field. Shankar Chakraborty is currently a Professor in the Department of Production Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Calcutta in 1986 and received his master’s degree from Jadavpur University in 1989. He was awarded with Ph.D. (Engg.) from Jadavpur University in 1994. He has more than 30 years of teaching as well as research experience. He has published more than 275 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals. He is Associate Editor of OPSEARCH journal and also a member of the editorial board of several international journals.
