Jessica Williams is Professor of Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she teaches in the MA TESOL program. Her area of research is second language learning. She is the author of several ELT student books as well as professional reference books for ELT professionals. Laurie Blass is an experienced writer and content developer specializing in English Language Teaching materials. She has an MA in Linguistics and a TESL certificate from the University of Pittsburgh and has taught ESL in the United States and France. She is the author/co-author of several ELT titles representing a wide range of audiences, from adult education to English for academic purposes.
