Dr. Dino J. Martins is an artist, naturalist and writer. He is widely known as East Africa’s ‘Dudu Man’ (Dudu is the Swahili word for insect). As a scientist he has lived most of his life out in the bush. His stories are based on many years of closely watching and learning from the wildlife and wilderness. He seeks to connect young people with the world of animals and plants, and foster a deeper sense of the detail and wonder of nature.
