Overview

Howdy Y'all. Jimbo, Harold, and the gang are back for some more good old fashion backwoods, countrified, Redneck humor. I have to say that visiting with folks who read Raised Redneck Vol. 1 has been truly amazing. More than a few of them have told me they could see members of their own family in these stories. Or, that they have a very similar story about some of their own kinfolk. This made me realize that there are a few redneck truths about all of us: (1) nearly every family has at least one redneck in it, (2) there are different levels of redneckness, and (3) we all have our redneck moments. With that in mind, it is with pleasure that I share with you this volume of good old down home southern redneck humor. Prepare to have your funny bone tickled.

Author Information

"Charles Lemar Brown is a retired high school science teacher, who now spends much of his time writing and traveling. In addition to this work, he has also published three novels: The Road to Nowhere, The Neon Church Journal, and The Seventh Date, a book of short stories entitled Raised Redneck, Vol. 1 as well as, as a collection of poetry entitled, heart breaks and cannon fodder. He is also an avid photographer whose photographs have been sold around the world. He lives in rural Love County, Oklahoma, where he enjoys spending time with his seven children and twenty-one grandchildren. Left alone too long, he is likely to be found making TikTok's, working out in his home gym, or kicked back with his cat, Tilee, watching whatever football game he can find on the television. His favorite quote is- ""what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and I ain't dead yet""."
