Author Information

Dr Surajit Ghosal is working as an Associate Professor at Amity School of Economics, Amity University Kolkata, India. His career confronts a sea change from defense to academics. His articles and research papers reflect his deep interest in international trade relations, public reforms, and political economy. He served as a faculty member in the Government Universities of Ethiopia under the World Bank's development mission from 2012 to 2019. Apart from publishing in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed international journals, and edited volumes, he authored the books, 'International Business Environment and India's Economic Development' and 'An Inquiry into The Next Global Economies,' both published in New Delhi, India. In this current book, India's fiscal performance and the significance of public finance policies in impacting economic growth, income distribution, and overall economic stability are thoroughly examined; it is the sequel to 'The Political Economy of India - A Multidimensional Approach,' which was published in New Delhi, India.
