We found that the students responded with above average interest to the various texts represented in Projections. These kinds of texts are more familiar to them than most of the more traditional readings found in other composition textbooks. The brevity of the readings is also appealing, especially to my basic students. My impression is that more of my students do more of the assigned reading because the selections are shorter. We also try to infuse more visual literacy into our curriculum, and Projections is designed to address that concern. Author InformationTab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
