OverviewFrom Risk Recognition to Safer Outcomes. This book presents a clear and cohesive vision of prevention across the entire perinatal continuum. It highlights how early identification of risk and timely, evidence-based interventions can substantially improve maternal and neonatal outcomes. Bringing together preventive strategies in pregnancy, labor, and newborn care, the book bridges theory and daily clinical practice. It guides clinicians through key risk factors, practical preventive measures, and decision-making frameworks designed to reduce complications before they occur. Special attention is given to real-world clinical settings, including environments with limited resources, where effective prevention can have the greatest impact. Written with clarity and grounded in evidence, this volume offers pragmatic insights that support safer care, greater efficiency, and better outcomes.
