He previously served as a Lecturer at the Department of Applied Sciences, Institute of Science and Technology, Klawad, Yamunanagar (2009-2011), India. His research interests are focused on the isolation, characterization, and biochemical evaluation of natural metabolites as anticancer agents. He has served as a reviewer for several international journals and as an editor/ guest editor for various SCI-indexed journals. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience in pharmacology, mammalian physiology, and natural products. He has published more than 350 papers in peer-reviewed- reviewed international journals and authored several book chapters. He has 12,600+ citations and an h-index of 56. He edited 10 International books in the area of natural products, chemoprevention, and nanoformulations. In addition, Dr. Tuli is listed in the World Top 2% Scientists, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025. Dr. Shafiul Haque is a Professor of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biology from DDU Gorakhpur University, and his M.Tech and PhD in Biotechnology from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and Jamia Millia Islamia, India, respectively. He also holds an MBA and has training in regulatory affairs and Intellectual Property Rights. Dr. Haque previously worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. as an Application Specialist/Scientist for the EMEA region and West India and completed Postdoctoral research at the University of Helsinki, Finland, focusing on novel antibiotics from natural products. He also served as a Research Consultant at King Khalid University Hospital, King Saud University, Riyadh. He has published over 500 peer-reviewed research articles, contributed to several international book chapters, and serves on the editorial boards of multiple scientific journals. His research focuses on molecular genetics, antimicrobial resistance, natural products, bioinformatics, and AI-driven approaches in healthcare research, with particular emphasis on discovering novel therapeutics and understanding microbial resistance mechanisms.
