Overview

A resurrected woman. A forgotten friend. An unknown enemy. After her brief death and inexplicable recovery, an amnesiac woman must piece together a new identity while seeking clues to her former self. Taking the name Anodyne, she struggles to create a new life in the punk rock scene of 1980s America while plagued by the impulse to search for something she can't remember. Anodyne is befriended and helped by Nikki, the leader of the local melodic rock band Vita Nova. In a disorienting world where any stranger could be her killer, she questions her own identity, sanity, and strength. Monstrous enemies, both human and otherwise, threaten to end her new life, but the key to her true identity lies in Vita Nova's music and her own locked mind.
