​Dr. Dina Amin, DDS, FACS, Dr. Dina Amin is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Residency Program Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry, and Eastman Institute of Oral Health. Dr. Amin earned her Dental Degree at King Abdul-Aziz University, which is the only internationally accredited dental school by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). She obtained her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Saudi Arabia. Dr. Amin had 2 years of fellowships from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her 1st fellowship in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery with a concentration in Orthognathic Surgery and Obstructive Sleep Apnea was at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in Birmingham Alabama. To complete her surgical training, she completed a 2nd fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in Birmingham Alabama.  In 2016, Dr. Amin joined Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta Georgia as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. At Emory University, she served as the Associate Chief of Service, the Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinic, and the Co-Director of the Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Center of Excellence at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. Dr. Amin is credited for introducing Head and Neck Oncology, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, and Computer-assisted Navigation for complex Craniomaxillofacial Trauma to Emory University. She worked briefly at Texas A&M University and Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas before joining the University of Rochester.  Her primary research evolved from her interests in Craniomaxillofacial Trauma, Head and Neck Pathology, and Reconstruction. Dr. Amin has received intramural and international grants and was the Principal Investigator of an orbital trauma clinical trial. She is the author of more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and 13 book chapters. Dr. Hisham Marwan, DDS, FACS , is an Asscoaite Professor and Division Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Marwan completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed two years of fellowship training in Oral/Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Surgery. In 2018, he joined the faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Marwan is double board-certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral, Head, and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Marwan has authored several manuscripts in Head and Neck Oncology, Reconstruction, and Craniomaxillofacial trauma. In addition, he authored multiple book chapters and co-edited a major textbook in Trauma.
