DANIEL STEWART is a writer and storyteller, as well as a writing coach and book designer through his consultancy, History By Design. He holds a PhD in history and writes memoir, personal essay and fiction. His work has appeared in academic and literary journals, and he is currently completing a memoir and a novel. He is a past president of Michigan Writers and lives on an old farmstead in Leelanau County with his wife and a number of animals, some of them invited.
