Author Information

Dr. Sha Xiong received her PhD degree from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2014. She was a Research Fellow in Nanyang Technological University from 2014 to 2018. Currectly, she is an Associate Professor in School of Automation, Central South University, Changsha, China. Dr. Xiong’s main research interests are optofluidics, lab-on-a-chip, biochemical sensor using microfluidic methods, and microbial detection in drinking water.   Dr. Ai-Qun Liu received Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1994. Currently, he is Chair Professor of Quantum Engineering and Science, Director of Research Institute for Quantum Technology, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Hong Kong, China. Dr. Liu is interested in the research fields of photonics, optofluidics, quantum photonic device, and system. He serves as an editor and editorial board member of several journals. He is the author of over 200 publications including peer-reviewed journal papers and two books. Also, he is an OSA fellow, RCS fellow, and SPIE fellow, fellow of Singapore Academy Engineering.
