Shannon W. Kaprive left her briefcase behind after 41 years in Corporate America, as Vice President of Human Resources & Corporate Services, to lead a quieter, simpler life as God's words began to overflow from her heart. Her first book, Something So Real touched the hearts of her readers. She continues to write today to spread God's words through prose and poetry, leading souls to the peace of knowing our Heavenly Father. Living on Hilton Head Island, she has been married to her husband, Lon, for 50 years, and they are the parents of two adult children, Tony and Katie. It is their three precious grandchildren Audrey, Hudson, and Adalynn who steal their hearts, as family life is enjoyed, continuing to be the highlight each day.
