GlossaryReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Pawan Kumar Maurya is a biochemist and Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the Central University of Haryana, where he also serves as Dean of Academic Affairs. He earned his MSc and PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Allahabad. His research spans oxidative stress, aging, nanomedicine, and clinical biochemistry. He has completed postdoctoral training at several institutions in Asia and Brazil. Dr. Maurya has been honored with national and international awards for his work. He is active in professional societies including the Association of Gerontology India, the Society of Neurochemistry India, and Indian Biochemists’ and Microbiologists’ associations. His scholarly output includes books, book chapters, and numerous research articles. He contributes to technical and organizing committees for national and international conferences. A dedicated educator, he specializes in biochemical diagnostics, nanomedicine, and clinical biochemistry, with a track record of editorial work with major publishers. Dr. Imteyaz Qamar is working as an assistant professor at School of biotechnology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, India.
