OverviewThis book explores the legal landscape of noncompetition agreements, both past and present, as a means of safeguarding trade secrets in business law. Saunders is Professor of Business Law at California State University, Northridge, and Chair of the Department of Business Law. He received his BS in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University, a JD from the University of Pittsburgh, and an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from George Washington University. He is the author of several books on intellectual property law as well as numerous law review articles on intellectual property law, business and commercial law, and legal education. As an attorney, his main areas of practice are intellectual property law, business planning, and commercial law. Michelle Evans is an Associate Professor with the Department of Political Science and Director of the Legal Studies graduate program at Texas State University. Professor Evans earned her JD from St. Mary’s University School of Law, San Antonio, Texas, and has 30 years of experience as an intellectual property lawyer and mediator. She is also a registered patent attorney with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
