Recibió los premios internacionales de periodismo Rodolfo Walsh y Pedro Sarquis Merrewe, así como el Premio Nacional de Locución en dos ocasiones. Ciro Gómez Leyva is an internationally renowned journalist, host of the morning news program Por la mañana on Radio Fórmula--Mexico's leading morning broadcast--and a top-level analyst for the newspaper Excélsior. He has received the Rodolfo Walsh and Pedro Sarquis Merrewe international journalism awards, as well as the National Broadcasting Award twice.
