Devendra Sillu is Active Researcher currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Environmental Science and Engineering Program at Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT), Shantou, Guangdong, China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), India. During his doctoral thesis, he explored different functionalization approaches to achieve efficient enzyme immobilization onto nanomatrices while preserving their catalytic potential. His research aimed to commercialize the conversion of various agri-food wastes through innovative strategies. With expertise in nanomaterial synthesis, functionalization techniques, biomolecule immobilization, and biomass valorization, Devendra is a dedicated researcher passionate about developing sustainable solutions for critical social-environmental issues. Devendra has made impactful contributions to the scientific community through his publications. He has authored or co-authored several research articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals such as ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering, Environmental Science: Nano, Applied Nanoscience, and Microchimica Acta. Dr. Goh Bey Hing is currently affiliated with the School of Medical and Life Sciences at Sunway University and holds an adjunct position in the School of Pharmacy at Monash University Malaysia and the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Zhejiang University, China. Dr. Goh is currently serving as Head of the Sunway Biofunctionality Molecule Discovery Centre (SBMD). His current research focuses on the study of the functionality of natural products derived from diverse sources, such as herbs used in traditional medications, microbes, and algae. To date, he has published more than 200 international scientific articles along with numerous books, book chapters, 1 policy document, and 2 patents. He has recorded more than 8,000 citations and achieved an H-index of 51. He is currently serving as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Pharmacology, Editor for BioMed Research International, and Guest Editor for Frontiers in Immunology. Dr. Nadeem Akhtar is a research scientist at CBS Bio Platforms Inc., Canada, using biotechnology to create sustainable feed and food solutions. With a strong academic and research background, he has developed innovative approaches in agriculture, nanobiotechnology, bioactives, nutraceuticals, and alternative proteins. Following his Ph.D., he gained experience as a Research Associate at the University of Guelph and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Guelph and the University of Waterloo. His work focuses on making nutrition more sustainable and improving feed and food systems for the future.
