After his experience in World War II, he became President of Medusa Cement Co. until he retired in 1970. He died in 1991. Theodore Sedgwick is Ellery Sedgwick, Jr.’s son. He founded Pasha Publications, publishers of news and data on the energy industry, and served as US Ambassador to Slovakia from 2010 to 2015.
