Her research interests also include history of medicine and surgery and history of early Indian religion, especially Ajivikism and Saivism. S.K. Bose, an Ex-President of Numismatic Society of India, is an independent researcher on Indian coins with deep academic interest. He has been constantly contributing to the field of numismatic studies by his publications, seven of them jointly with Nicholas G. Rhodes.
