Athina Papadaki Author InformationNarcisa Vucina has published poetry collections, short stories and novels. Her poems are represented in Danish anthologies. She has translated books from Danish, English, Croatian/Bosnian/Serbian and vice versa. A self-translated excerpt from her Danish novel Tildas hemmelige bog (Tilda's Secret Book) was published in September 2020 in the Los Angeles Review. The novel is translated into American English as The Button and The Book (Spuyten Duyvil). The book is also translated into Croatian and will be released in March 2026 in Zagreb at Jesenski i Turk.Vucina holds a Masters in English from the University of Sarajevo and a BA in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian from the University of Copenhagen, where she also worked as a lecturer. She studied English Language and Literature at Cambridge College in London, and American English at Hollywood Work Source.Vucina also worked as a journalist for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation for more than thirty years and interviewed David Bowie, Joseph Brodsky, David Lynch and many others.
