(Doody's Health Services) Author InformationAmita Sehgal received her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Cornell University Medical College. Her postdoctoral training was conducted at Rockefeller University, working on the genetic and molecular basis of circadian rhythms in the fruit fly. She has continued this line of work as an independent investigator at the University of Pennsylvania.
