Martin Green is a renowned author in the UK producing the official (HABIA) series of study guides for hairdressing and barbering for colleges, schools and training providers. He is currently published by SalonStudies and Cengage Learning and has written previously for Thomson and MacMillan. His series of study guides (now in their 7th edition, ) extend from the beginner, as salon assistant, through to the salon manager and his works have been translated into many other languages including Russian, Spanish and Chinese. Martin is a keen believer and advocate for training and education and has been complimenting his authorship skills in pioneering digital resources for hair education. He has considerable experience as; practitioner, lecturer and examiner and has worked in private enterprise, mainstream education and for awarding organizations and standard setting bodies.
